The Organization of Filipinos in Texas (OFIT) delivered a meaningful and high‑impact community outreach presence at the 5th Annual Filipino–Pacific Islander Festival, held at the Garden Ridge Community Center in Garden Ridge, Texas. The festival—filled with food, music, dance, cultural showcases, and family activities—served as an ideal platform for OFIT to strengthen community ties and uplift Filipino and Pacific Islander families across the region.
OFIT’s outreach focused on unity, cultural pride, and service, engaging festival-goers through educational conversations, cultural connections, and support initiatives that highlight the organization’s mission of empowering Filipino Texans. Their presence added depth to a celebration already rich with tradition—parades, live performances, Zumba sessions, fashion showcases, and even a lively lumpia‑eating contest that brought joy to attendees of all ages.
By participating in this annual gathering, OFIT reinforced its commitment to building a stronger, more connected Filipino-American community in Texas.
